Holocaust Memorial Day
Barnet Council will be marking Holocaust Memorial Day on Sunday 28 January with a service at Middlesex University. The annual multi-faith community event will be held at Rickett Quadrangle in the Burroughs, Hendon at 2pm and all are invited to attend.
The theme chosen by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust for 2024 is ‘Fragility of Freedom’.
Speakers include the Worshipful Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Nagus Narenthira, Chairman of the Holocaust Educational Trust Craig Leviton, and Rwanda High Commissioner Johnston Busingye. There will be music from the Barnet Band and the Edgware and Hendon Reform Synagogue Choir.
