Freedom of Information Request

Pedestrian Safety & Tactile Paving

Received: 5 February 2025

I am researching pedestrian safety and accessibility in London, particularly the role of tactile paving at crossings for visually impaired and disabled citizens.I would like to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that could help me understand the current situation in Barnet. Specifically, I would be grateful if you could provide:*A list (or summary if easier) of all reported pedestrian accidents in Barnet in the last five years (2019-2024), including:oDate/period of the incidentoLocationoAny mention of paving issues'particularly uneven paving or inadequate tactile pavingoDetails of the incident where available*Any ongoing or planned improvements to enhance pedestrian safety for visually impaired individuals.*Any reports, assessments, or audits conducted on the state of tactile paving at pedestrian crossings.I understand that some of this data may be easier to provide than others, so I would be grateful for any information that is available. If some of this is already publicly accessible, I would appreciate any guidance on where to find it.If possible, I would prefer to receive the information in a CSV, Excel, or other machine-readable format.
