YMCA Training

This is for young people between 16 and 18 who may not have achieved their potential whilst in school. This course includes Basic Skills, Skills for Life, in Literacy and numeracy for a City & Guilds qualification. Careers planning including job search, CV's and application forms. IT, Key Skills, life skills including Life Coaching, drug and alcohol awareness sessions. There are also courses in Painting and Decorating, Customer Care, Administration and Childcare.

They also offer Apprenticeships and pre-Apprenticeship training with them and selected partners across many industries, all aimed at helping you find the right career for you.
