Northgate Clinic (Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust CAMHS)

The clinic is a specialist unit for young people between 13 and 18 years who are suffering from severe and complex mental health problems. The clinic operates on a therapeutic placement basis and takes people referred by a psychiatrist and local teams on an impatient or day patient basis. A follow up service is available for discharged patients. This is a 'medium term' service with an average placement of between 9 months and 1 year and is available to patients in the south east of England. The service is funded by health and run by the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. There is a school attached to the unit funded by the LEA.
