About our mental health services
Uncertainty and money concerns can have a huge impact on our mental health and wellbeing.
If you’re struggling with your mental health, you’re not alone. Local and national support services are here to help.
All services are free.
Barnet Wellbeing Service
The Barnet Wellbeing Service is a one-stop shop for all mental health and wellbeing needs. They will refer or signpost you onto a wide range of services and activities.
The service is delivered through a variety of wellbeing and mental health providers across Barnet:

- Closed between 25 December - 1 January.
Emergency or crisis support
For adults over 18
Sanctuary Barnet (Crisis Café) works with anyone over the age of 18
They provide access to immediate emotional support to anyone experiencing distress:
- call 020 8343 5704, open Monday to Friday 4.30pm to 10.30pm and weekends at 12pm to 6pm

- Open Christmas - New Years bank holidays.
For children and adolescents
Barnet, Enfield and Haringey CAMHS has a 24 hour helpline for people experiencing a mental health crisis.
Call 0800 151 0023 to get help from a trained mental health advisor.
The phone line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including Christmas and New Years.
Samaritans
Samaritans is a safe place for you to talk at any time, in your own way, about whatever is getting to you. You don't have to be suicidal to reach out.
The free helpline is open and inbox is monitored day and night, 365 days a year:

Digital self help resources and information
Stay Alive app
This suicide prevention app helps you or friends and family to stay safe.
Features include resources designed to help anyone in crisis, a safety plan for a crisis and a life box where you can store images and videos that are important to you.

Good Thinking
Good Thinking is a London-wide NHS digital wellbeing service. It is designed to support mental health needs such as sleep, anxiety, low mood and stress.
Good Thinking offers digital self-assessment followed by a range of personalised, clinically approved services based on your preferences and location.
Every Mind Matters
Every Mind Matters has expert advice and practical tips to help you look after your mental health and wellbeing.
You can sign up for anxiety easing emails, learn about CBT techniques and get a personalised action plan.
