Arriving late to your ceremony

Register Office in Hendon Town Hall

If you are up to 20 minutes late to your ceremony, there is a late arrival fee of £40. You must pay this before the start of the ceremony.

If you are more than 20 minutes late, we will cancel your ceremony and you will need to re-book and pay again in full.

Licensed premises in Barnet

If you are up to 30 minutes late to your ceremony, there is a late arrival fee of £61. You must pay this before the start of the ceremony.

If you are more than 30 minutes late, your ceremony may not take place. You will need to re-book and pay again in full.

Changes to your ceremony

We charge £40 to change ceremony dates and times with 7 days notice. If you give us less than 7 days notice you will be charged your full booking fee.

Cancelling your ceremony

You can cancel your ceremony and apply for a refund a month before your ceremony date. Your refund will be minus the £100 non-refundable secure booking fee.

Apply for your refund by emailing or writing to us, include full details of the ceremony date, time, venue and your full names and your payment method.

Requests for refunds can be emailed to registrars@barnet.gov.uk please make refund request the title of your email.
